I'm going to guess at this - there is an MI function called MATRMD that you can use to get all kinds of information - I think you want multiprogramming level (MPL) information, but I could be very wrong about that. The type code is x'16' for this - the documentation is in real computer scientist geek-speak - but maybe you could subscribe to the MI list and get more help. You can call this from RPG, you don't have to write in MI
