I still remember an article I read (PC Week at the time) when W2K debuted. The author chastised MS for releasing a known buggy system saying, "If MS
ever learns to write operating systems like IBM does for the AS/400 [his
word, not mine], it might be on to something."
I think you might be on to something Jerry! Maybe we need to get some
authors familiar with i5OS to infiltrate the ranks of high-profile trade
rags and start writing articles that are truthful to what the best machines
are out there. Of course the article topics would have to be about silly
things with phrases like "Microsoft ... Enterprise" (those two words don't
belong in the same sentence), but in the article content we could make sure
the world knew what the best OS/language/DB was!! Us RPG people is so
sneaky! ;-)
Maybe I made my coffee a little strong this morning... :-)
BTW, rocking out to http://www.purevolume.com/scenesfromamovie this morning.
