We had the change last year also for the first time here in Indiana.

I am of Al Barsa's opinion.  Why create a new timezone?  Why not just
change the dates on the existing timezone with the ptf's?  But I guess the
reason is that not all regions that were using the old one are now using
the new one.  Hard to fathom that not all of our neighbors south of our
border bow to the "Colossus of the North".  :-)

Mine changed from QN0500EST2 to QN0500EST3 when the PTFs applied.

I'm also curious to see why Rob asked...

Rob, are you in Indiana and dealing with the change for the first time?
Just curious... that would be a nice double whammy if so!

yes (and why do you ask?) it is the eastern us time zone for the ptfs
applied.
