Same thing that happened in the states is going to happen over seas. People start becoming millionaires and goods start costing more, house prices go up, jobs will start coming back to the US. Give it time. -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Nelson Sent: Friday, February 09, 2007 3:32 PM To: midrange-jobs@xxxxxxxxxxxx; Midrange-L Subject: One downside to offshoring I got this from a friend of mine whose company has sent work to India. He got this note from one of the guys "over there". Apparently things aren't as rosy as cracked up to be. <<The Claims offshore QA team intends to test tonight since there is going to be a statewide strike on Monday the 12th. But with this refresh which is scheduled to start at 7 PM tonight and ends at 1AM Sunday it will effect our testing. Is it possible to reschedule this so that we can start the refresh on Saturday morning and end on Sunday evening or so? We have only 5 more days to go for completing the regression before the release. Please note that this strike was decided suddenly by the state government. Please let me know.
