AFAIK, a 7104 on a 270 is considered part of frame 1. The cages are not
shown, either. Nor are they shown on any system.

As long as your disk drives and controller cards are showing up, you're
ok.

Subject: rack config - items not showing

I have a small 9406-270 P05 with 18 35GB drives. I go into SST, start a

service tool, hardware service manager and press F6 to print a rack
config.

Lo and behold it does not report the 7104 expansion unit nor the 7143
cage housing 12 drives.

I thought the rack config was next to god in accuracy.

What's up?

Jerry
