I wondered too, but he may not be running OS/400 at all. Up until a few releases ago you could be running *M36 and have the whole machine be S/36. Not just running in the S/36 environment. Much like the difference between firing up a Linux or Unix lpar, or, running a command in QSHELL. Rob Berendt
