There is a commercial solution.<plug>Our ThinView product runs in a browser, and includes a 5250 emulator (actually, its most popular feature) that was designed by an InfoWindow II jock (namely myself), and has scripting capability.
Perhaps the best demonstration of its capabilities is our authorization code on demand system, which can be found if you follow the Code-on-Demand ("24/7 Disaster Recovery") link in the home page for any Touchtone Corporation product.
http://www.questview.com http://www.wintouch.com http://www.thinview.com </plug>As I recall, I've personally seen other products that do similar things (one of which was the inspiration for the "background image" feature we added to our emulator, which is actually becoming as much a utilitarian feature as a cosmetic one: if I've got emulation sessions going on 3 customer sites and 2 of our own boxes, the background image is the easiest way to tell them apart!)
