memory, and messed up WHERE.  By the way, I'm sure you meant 
"on", not "in" <g>.

      From T1, DMITMMST where RHITEM = ITNBR

Is equivalent to

      From T1 join DMITMMST on RHITEM = ITNBR

Sorry about that...


Got it embedded in RPG and working properly this morning.

Because the selection criteria is in one file, and the sequencing and
descriptive info is in another, this would not have been possible without
SQL in this simple a manner.  This was really slick to be able to do this
way.
