That depends on why you're restoring the files saved from your production system. If the purpose is to have a place to hold those files for future research or possible recovery, then there's no problem. If you want to use those files for parallel testing or user acceptance testing, you'll need the version of the programs that correspond to the files you saved or your testing may have unpredictable results. The other is our Production box where we promote our approved program and data. Recently we add a third box, which is our Production box, that is a picture of our Production at Month end. What will happen if we backup our PRODUCTION box on the last day of the month and Restored our physical files libraries, but not our program file libraries? We're modifying and add new program daily. <clip>
