I agree with David. We must act as serios professionals, not fanatics. I very much dislike the limitations of the AS 400 respect to mail, I find it strange, but we must realize the strength and limitations of or favorite platform. Recomending an AS 400 for a task where it is not the best will cause the plataform to appear as a not so good.

It's a mater of using the right tool for the job.

Generally speaking (and IMHO), the iSeries is best suited for business
applications ... ERP, CRM, Data Warehousing, OE, GL, AP, Payroll, etc.

As an email server, it's on the weak side.  Linux, however, is quite
well suited for being a mail server.
