We used to set it to 60 minutes but we would use the disconnect job option so they could sign back on and resume where they left off (we timed that out after another hour or two). Nowadays it doesn't really matter because most of our users are in qshell which totally defeats the QINACTITV timer and there is no way (that I know of) to make qshell sessions timeout due to inactivity. Fortunately our corporate security policies enforce automatic lock at the workstation and virtually all of our users are on a PC emulator rather than a real 5250 terminal, so these sessions are not left totally unprotected. -Marty
