I agree.. They made the claim: Frustrated iSeries Developers? and End-Users?I cannot remember a single "End-User" who was at any of these tour dates. And, from everything I recall, there were dozens of ~curious~ developers and developers seeking ~information~. The frustration level of the audience was not a consideration for their attendance.
As with any marketing campaign, I think California Software is attempting to "educate" us - in this case, about our supposed frustration level. Luckily, the developer community is aware that a level of frustration does not cause us to rush to throw away an investment in a platform that has proven itself as reliable, secure, scalable...
I wonder if Microsoft are concerned about being attached to such a misrepresentation of the facts?

I think this twists Microsoft's "Midrange Modernization Tour" as well. The emphasis there is not so much eliminating iSeries, but using .NET as the integration software of choice instead of WebSphere.
