Oh I agree that not many will have the full blown Acrobat. However a free reader is available to everyone. There are so many websites where pdf is the defacto standard that we put on a reader on any pc authorized to search the web. PDF documents can be modified with appropriate software. In addition, these documents take considerably longer than Word documents to open. A password can be required to modify a Word document to prevent unauthorized changes. Donald R.
