When I said  "if it works" I mean the email gets delivered.

I can almost bet then that it's one of a few things:

1.  SMTP Attributes are incorrect (mail router)
2.  something is amuk with the mail router itself
3.  Possibly  host table entry pointing to the mail router
is pointing to the wrong IP address.

Test inside your firewall and outside..  if it works
inside, then it's something with the router.  If it doesn't
work either way, it's most likely something with the above.

Also, make sure SMTP and MSF are running.  Obvious, but
worth mentioning.
