Have you tried the new V5R3 compression features? They are very impressive. I took an object saved with *high and got only a minimal improvement by zipping it up. Compared to *high, dtacpr(*yes) is a cruel joke. You must specify DTACPR(*YES). Interesting that the compression ratio when writing to the save file is so much worse than the compression ratio when writing to the DVD-RAM. I would have expected it to be the same. Anybody know why this is not the case?
