Doesn't pull down all ptf's that are available.  Just ptf's that are on 
the cume that are not on your system (unless you tell it to include ones 
on your system so you can distribute to other machines).  John's technique 
would get all ptf's.

I believe when using the IBM iPTF site to generate an order for a 
CUMulative
PTF package, I think they are already doing something like this, because 
it
requires me to enter the IP address of the system and a userID and 
password
on that system, so that IBM can connect to that machine... I believe it
polls the system to find out what LPPs are installed and then generates a
CUMe PTF package that contains only PTFs for those LPPs. (but I could be
mistaken...)

I don't think this comes into play with the "Group PTFs" however ... :-o
