Bill, We have started using ARCTools/400 from DCSoftware. Dave Shea has defined all the table relationships (for OneWorld and World), so if you want to purge Orders, all related rows in other tables are purged also. That was where we struggled with writing our own. We didn't want to leave orphaned rows. Dave uses Query/400 to determine what to purge and creates a driver table. This driver table is used by the purge program to do the actual purge. It is rather easy to add in any custom tables to be included in the purge run. The reorganize while active isn't a issue for us. Once we did our first purge, we did a reorganize during a scheduled down time. OneWorld/EnterpriseOne reuses deleted records. V5R3 now has a reorganize while active.
