Don:

The HLD status item makes this difficult to be sure. A thought... perhaps a 
monitor program against either the audit journal or job accounting journal 
could catch spooled file activity at the times you'd need? It's been quite a 
few years since I programmed anything for job accounting, but I seem to recall 
that spooled file and/or printing entries could be extremely useful from there.
