First, it's absolutely no problem to load the PTFs now and do the apply/IPL over the weekend. Now, as to loading HIPERs, the CUM, and groups all at once vs. individually, opinions will vary. But unless the IBM doc states otherwise, I've never had an issue with loading everything at once. I typically do the CUM first, then HIPERs, then all of the groups (in whatever order the pile of CDs winds up in). Once everything is loaded I'll schedule the IPL to do the apply.
