Think of it as a numeric series starting with 5. We have the i5, next will be the i6, i7, etc. It's a series. An iSeries. Still, "IBM eServer iSeries i5 570 Enterprise Edition" is a ridiculously long name. Here we have one AS/400e (730) and one iSeries (830). I'm trying to get away from saying "AS/400" or anything model specific since it seems whatever name I say won't have traction for very long. I just say "midrange". John A. The i5s are the "most recent member of the iSeries family" according to the iSeries home page @ IBM. So if I wanted to correctly refer to what one of those machine that we all have that run 5250 applications could I still correctly call it an iSeries? -Walden ------------ Walden H Leverich III President & CEO Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
