Just wondering. I think Walden was saying that there is PROBABLY more there than just file sharing. For instance, how do the updates get to the share set up on the iSeries? There must be a process to go get them and put them into this share. Now if it's only a manual process (yuck) then you can probably do this yourself. If it's automated then you have but a few choices. See if they have this running on an iSeries or a Unix box (like QShell). Or find out the steps needed to get the updates and roll your own: (Sockets, GETURI, ftp, etc), or install a Windows server. Then again, you might be able to set up that Windows server to be your Wins server and solve some of your other issues also.
