A correction to the above - I interpreted the request as using
SBMRMTCMD, as the two systems are both AS/400s. RUNRMTCMD doesn't
generate messages in the same way. I tend to use wrappers around both
commands, so forgot which was which in my post - oops :( I'd stick by
the technique though, if SBMRMTCMD can be used in the situation.
