Nevermind, I answered my own question.

I assume if the messages that are returned by CVTDIR OPTION(*CHECK) all say
*TYPE2, then I have no conversion worries, right?

A couple of quick questions about directory types:

Is there a way to quickly tell which directories are *TYPE1 or *TYPE2?   I
looked at directory attributes from WRKLNK, but didn't see any clues.

If a directory is type 2, is there a guarantee any sub-directories are as
well?  Type 1 too?
