If you're planning on coming to Toronto for the Fall COMMON, it's not too
early to start thinking about entertainment outside of the conference. The
major stage shows typically get sold out months in advance. For information
on shows like Mama Mia, The Producers, and Hairspray, check out
<http://www.mirvish.com/>. Also, fans of the Red Green show should note that
in the past tapings have been scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays in the
Fall, and will likely continue in the Fall of this year. I can attest that
it's good fun. Check out <http://www.redgreen.com/>. Other TV shows like the
Royal Canadian Air Farce <http://www.airfarce.com/> also tape at the CBC
Broadcast Center downtown, but the humor tends to be more topical. (There
are lots of other entertainment options, but things like these need some
advance
planning.)
