We just sent out the first wave of a product enhancement to six of our customers, and spent most of the day debugging a problem. We have a trigger program that is monitoring changes to a certain file, but when the program is called, it is using the system default library list found in the system valu (I think it is QUSRLIBL). One of our programs in the job stream of the trigger program exists outside the library list of QUSRLIBL. We tried changing the JOBD of the dummy user that calls the trigger program, but it ignored that JOBD and used the system default. We looked at the DSPFD for the file and all the trigger information, but never saw a JOBD or library list entry. What determines the JOBD, and how do we change it? Dan Rasch - because if the human species concentrated on the really important things in life, there would be a shortage of fishing poles! IBM Certified twice....... but still a couple PTFs away from Nirvana.
