I need to download a Lotus Notes View (Notes running on an NT BTW) to an
iSeries/400 database file. The Documents in the View have field elements
made up of Text values and Dates. I know I can export a Notes View to a
spreadsheet, cleanup the spreadsheet data, and then download the
spreadsheet to the 400, but it seems to me there ought to be an easier way
that isn't manual.

Is there a way I can automate all this and end up with a database file I
can actually use on my 400 that has field types I can work with? Oh yeah,
I almost forgot ... I'd prefer something that won't require a lot of time
or training as I have little time available to me. <g>
