Indeed that was my understanding. I originally posted the mail and I replied exactly to the specific problem that Paul had, identifying myself clearly as a vendor. I think that it is one of the objectives of a mailing list... if someone has problems but nobody can give solutions it wouldn't be so useful, would it? Thanks for making it clear. Folks: If a vendor has a product that will solve a specific problem that someone is posting about, they are welcome and encouraged to respond approprately. Unsolicited advertisements are the only thing that is not allowed. If someone describes a problem that TAA Tools can solve, I fully expect Al Barsa to pipe up and indicate so. If someone asks a question about Source Control products, you can bet I will mention something about Implementer. I do require that vendors identify themselves as such ... don't try and represent yourself as a happy user of your own product (even if you are). david -- "Who said I couldn't have it all?" -B Gates _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
