erm - so adverting and repeated postings ARE prohibited ....I can certainly
agree with that otherwise the list becomes yet another
advertising email and rapidly useless and no-one will use it for inter-member
assistance.

but....if I have a potential solution I do try to inform that person (and other
members, too) and ALWAYS identify myself as a
vendor, and also attempt to instil a little humour (maybe I should drop the
humour!)

I also (hand on heart) make no attempt to farm or copy the email addresses for
marketing purposes as that WOULD be unprofessional -
and judging by some entries in my Inbox not everyone is the same.

"Advertising products, repeated postings, etc, are strictly prohibited.
Also, if you have a solution that will specificly help another participant,
feel free to tell that person. And finally, if you are a vendor, please
identify yourself as such... do not try to pass yourself off as a user of
your own products (even if you are)."
