Everyone who has commented on this speaks of this as a iSeries change. iSeries has always been on the outer edge of Partnerworld. This is either a Partnerworld or IGF move, and is directed at all hardware platforms. Neither Partnerworld or IGF reports in any way to Rochester & the iSeries division. This is just IBM Corp sticking it (sharing the burden) to all developers. Kind of like the recent layoffs. btw - for those that attended the last Common Soundoff, I raised the "personal developers box" question again, and was promised it would be looked into (and Mr Duncan was sure it was an active program). The answer came a week or so later - it is not an active program, they had several legal issues that could not be resolved. In this age of Arthur Andersen/Enron & shrinking budgets, we may see more options disappear. jim franz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dare" <oludare@ix.netcom.com> To: <midrange-l@midrange.com> Sent: Monday, June 10, 2002 2:05 PM Subject: Re: Developer Lease to 1.75%???? > Guys, > > I'm just overwhelm by the way IBM is conduction business with the iSeries > server (AS/400).
