Hi Vernon, the WRKTCPPTP screen is there on my iSeries too, but no options to create a SLIP profile. I will let you know how I get on next week when I've been back to the site and had another crack at it. Have a nice weekend. Thanks for your support. So I get a window with no tabs. This lets me pick SLIP or PPP, switched or otherwise line, and type of line service. Then I click OK and get the real stuff. 5 tabs, "General", "Connection", "Authentication", "TCP/IP Settings", and "Other". You must have existing profiles. Maybe the manual migration means, as you say, delete and recreate the profile. And maybe even the line description. Could not find more to explain what IBM means. BTW, WRKTCPPTP exists on the machine I'm on, and it's at V5R1. I was able to add a profile there. Do you have that command?
