What you've proposed sounds more like a shoot-out than  cease-fire
<smiling>.

If you're interested in comparing alternative Web development tools, you

So far, only Net.Data, Easy400 CGI, and Relational-Web are compared.  But it
would be great if someone were to provide a Java Servlet / JSP solution to
the current mix.
