Re: exit pgm and lpar

Since each LPAR can be running a different release of OS/400 and different 
releases can support different sets of exit points and/or exit point formats 
and different releases may require programs compiled to specific release 
levels, LPARs better have individual registration facilities and exit programs.

The only way I could make sense of a single set of exit programs would be if 
they belonged to the primary partition. Unfortunately, this could create 
serious problems for LPARs running a later release of OS/400. Therefore, LPARs 
will remain separate. Reasonable?
