What about changing the command default for signoff.  you coud change the
ENDCNN(*YES).  that would end your passthru if you were passthed thru
otherwise you would just signoff.  I'm assuming thet the "off" command maps
directly to the SIGNOFF command.
caution though it kinda toasts the telnet sessions, last I remember.

Actually, on just about every menu we have on the system, option 24 is
"Off".
I was hoping to change this command (thinking it was one of ours, not one
of IBM's) in
one spot so that when anyone either typed "Off" or selected #24 from a menu
it would
either ENDPASTHR or do a SIGNOFF.

Apparently, it looks like this is not to be the case and I am going to have
to modify every
single menu we have on the system (tons of them).

Okay, next step, can anyone think of a way to kludge the S/36 environment
to run my Off
command instead of the built in S/36 Off command?

I am sure you have thought of this but you could create a command and add
it to the menu.  By creating it yourself you could call it OFF or anything
else you wanted.
