Actually, on just about every menu we have on the system, option 24 is "Off".
I was hoping to change this command (thinking it was one of ours, not one of
IBM's) in
one spot so that when anyone either typed "Off" or selected #24 from a menu it
would
either ENDPASTHR or do a SIGNOFF.

Apparently, it looks like this is not to be the case and I am going to have to
modify every
single menu we have on the system (tons of them).

Okay, next step, can anyone think of a way to kludge the S/36 environment to
run my Off
command instead of the built in S/36 Off command?

Jim Langston

I am sure you have thought of this but you could create a command and add
it to the menu. By creating it yourself you could call it OFF or anything
else you wanted.
