How long it takes depends on the relative size of the systems.  If you do 
not follow the Roadmap EXACTLY, you will screw it up.

If you only have one or two to do, I suggest you job it out.  IBM is 
certainly capable of doing it, but at a significantly higher cost than an 
independent.

I'm not advertising for myself, but I have done some expert witnessing 
where things haven't gone well.
