24x7 information

We are in the process of going to a 24x7 environment in our
distribution center and catalog sales area.  We will be installing
a new AS400 (720-200gb) to support an independent backup
strategy to an existing AS400 (720-200gb).  We are evaluating 
data replication software so we can quiese one box to back up and 
then play catch up when backups are done.  This will also allow us
to have planned outages for maintenance without affecting our users.
We would like to talk to someone that has done this to get the pros 
and cons of this strategy.  Plus, the pros and cons to replication software.
We are evaluating Mimix, Vision, and Data Mirror.
