  • Subject: RE: Harbinger Trusted Link - GUI only?

Oh I know, I had this conversation with the developers at Harbinger a
while back. Being in the development environment and completely shielded
from the real world (!) their belief was that no one used green screens
anymore. So they went and put this seagull front end on it which in my
view is a piece of $%##. (You now have to license each of these
"clients" as well). Going GUI and client/server is a good move but not
the way they did it. The "upgrade" is a piece of work too. The support
people are telling our customers to load the new version side by side
with the old until they're sure everything moved ok. I'm glad they're
not developing operating systems.

Chaos, panic, & disorder - my work here is done.
