I upgraded to this version back towards the beginning of this year. I was
not real happy with this fact either at first. But I think there are
several advantages to this process. The one big advantage I like is the
fact you can save a translation format in the middle of creating it. In the
old version you had to go completely through the mapping process before you
could save it. It was also a pain to go back in and modify a mapping in my
opinion.

I have run across several problem in this new version as well that I am told
will be fixed. Several of my mapping I hard code information into the
fields. With this new version some of those hard codes do not work like
they are suppose to. You cant even map a work field to them. Fortunately I
have only ran into a few that are this way. Another problem I had was not
all the mapping converted over correctly. If I remember right I had to make
modification to all my mappings before they would work correctly. Some of
the modifications were minor but it was annoying that I had to make any to
start with.

Once you get use to it I think you will like the GUI interface. It has been
a learning process but there are features in the GUI interface for the
mappings that make it nice.

Just my thoughts and experiences.
