So long as you are NOT using any of the three CA/400 programs (display, printer, and file transfer) and that require a paid license you do not need to pay IBM anything as everything else called CA/400 is included FREE as part of OS/400. If you are using ODBC, shared folders/network drives, virtual print/network printing, submit remote job, data queues, graphical access, etc. you DO NOT need a paid license from IBM. Claro?
