Dear list members:
I'm a novice when it comes to using SQL on the AS/400, so I would
appreciate any advice you could give on how to handle the following
problem:
I'm trying to write a select statement that will restrict the
selection of records to the first so many records that meet the selection
criteria. Thus, how would I select records with customer # > 1000 with
the additional requirement that I only want the first 400 records that
meet this criteria and then display the list in customer # order. I'm
told that Microsoft has a predicate called TOP that could accomplish this
task. Is there are a way to do something like this in SQL on the AS/400.
 Thanks for the assistance.
