RE: Number of installed AS/400s

It's a mistake to try to compare the actual number of NT installs with the
400.  NT's pricing business model is very different that the 400's.  Most NT
shops have more than one copy (because you need more than one!),  many many
400 shops only have one 400.  A better way to do this would be to classifiy
what business value is running on what platform (but I have no idea how to
do this).  Remember that MS is running is core business apps on a series of
400's.
