We have a couple 5494s attached to ethernet network connecting to different
400s on T/R network. The T/R and Ethernet networks are connected via a
CISCO 7500 series router. Initially when this was installed we had no
problems, but more recently the 5494s and some PCs are losing their
connection to 400s. One 5494 is 3-5 times a day, knocking down an entire
business office full of CSR's.

We reduced the Max Frame size on T/R line desription to 1033, but it hasn't
appeared to be helping.

Any suggestions?

IBM suggests we have CISCO resolve issue.
CISCO says they are only bridging SNA traffic.
