Can anyone suggest a low-cost method for editing AS/400 source members with a PC editor. I'm running Client Access V3R2M0. I'm able to open a source member without too much trouble (with notepad, for example), but saving is a problem. If the result of editing is a line longer than 80 characters (including trailing blanks!) the save either fails or stops writting data at the offending line, resulting in data loss. So am I crazy, or what? I don't want to invest in a giant tool like Code/400. I just want to edit some text. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
