G'Day people, We have a large amount of programs that our end-users use to produce hardcopy or screen-based reports. The higher-ups have suggested that we may like to know how many times each of these programs are run. Each of the programs has an option to print the report or view it on the screen. If the report is printed a batch job is submitted. No problem getting stats on these as job accounting is active. The problem is how many times are the programs run with the report being generated interactively. My suggestion is to have each program increment a data area and use the data areas for the reporting that management requires. Any other suggestions??
