Well....I can see your point in some areas...but overall, the times I've
worked with MAPICS it's not been that bad....but it has been a while...
and we've always modified the heck out of it...like any other canned
package..

NOW, if you want to talk to me about something that's a convoluted pain to 
modify, talk to me about JDE!  ANYONE that insists on alpha>numeric>alpha
conversions is nutz!  THEN there's my 2 biggest pissers: tiered pricing
and non-observable code sans source!
