Preface: I am assuming that "Mapics" means MAPICS, the "manufacturing package". If not, I apologize for the following rant. It was said: >The company that I work for has entered into a joing agreement with Mapics for >Java development. This I gotta see. Mapics, the supreme piece of garbage, enhanced by Java. Questions: -How can garbage be enhanced by *anything* so that it is no longer garbage? -Who in their right mind would buy MAPICS today? -If MAPICS was *the* package of the 21st century, how many of you (behind me) would change careers? Inquiring minds want to know. Signed, Wynn Osborne, President of PDM, Programmers for the Destruction of MAPICS (not to be confused with the beloved Product Data Management module). +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
