In all the documentation regarding running TCP/IP on the AS/400, it always 
states that if you are not going to connect to the Internet, you can 
arbitrarily use any IP address.  I wish to run TCP/IP between my NT server and 
my AS/400.  The NT server will be connected to the Internet.  I have no 
need/desire to make the AS/400 accessible or visible to the Internet.  Can I 
still use a dummy IP address on the 400 ?  Will this cause a problem ?  Is this 
a secure solution or should I consider some other method?  BTW, this post is 
not meant to invite questions as to why I have an NT Server.  I just do.
