GREAT idea!  This was where I personally hoped COMMON was heading when they
started providing the electronic schedule.  No more classes with 50 handouts
and 500 attendees.  No more classes scheduled for rooms supporting 50 people
that then move to support the 500 that show up.  Just a way to get a rough
idea of what to expect -- response samples then could be weighed against
actual attendance in order to extrapolate more accurate attendance estimates.
 Trees would be saved while adequate hand-outs would be assured.

Speaking of hand-outs, why not place them on the OPPOSITE side of the room
and not pass them out until the session manager begins to speak?  This would
discourage the "snarfers" and not distract from the session at all...
