We recently replaced the extinguishers in our computer room. We too found
that Halon is no longer available due to its contribution to ozone layer
depletion. We found a new chemical ANSUL CleanGuard (w/ Dupont FE-36)
which has been recommended to us for computer equipment. It's pretty
expensive right now ($350 for 14lb) since it hasn't been on the market long
but a few hundred dollars is cheaper than a crispy/400 any day :-)
