Once you have created the data dictionary and converted then to PDF how can
you get rid of them? It takes up DASD that I would rather not have to
backup every night (24x7 production).

Cross Apps includes a data dictionary and a couple other useful reports. Go
to CAS/2 to see your options. I have run several and put them in a PDF file
for quick reference on my PC.

Good luck with the reports. A word of caution -- sometimes the same field
exists in two different files, but is only populated in one. Be sure to
query the file and the data dictionary to insure you are using the correct
files.
